Out of interest, what work are you looking to have done?
I’ve had a nightmare to be honest. Went into one garage when bought van last year and had 20 inch wheels and lowered springs.
Was an absolute horrible drive around the streets of Liverpool so away she went to another garage who advised better quality lowering springs and 17 inch wheels so ended up with 17’s, falcon wild peak tyres and different springs.
Still a terrible drive so had a look around and obviously crs get mentioned everywhere.
Called them up and told them I need comfort so I’m booked in Wednesday morning. Probably going full koni setup or whatever they recommended really 😅
They know suspension better than most so I’ll be happy to go with their recommendation based on my requirements 👍
I’ll report back Wednesday afternoon 😅

Last year I went from 20 inch Wolfrace, to 17inch Black Rhino wheels and Falken 225/65R17 tyres myself,,,one of the best changes I've made, tbh.
I already had the full Koni setup, and the ride feels firm, but comfortable for me. Im more than happy. I've no doubt the advice given by CRS will improve your vans drive..... let us all know how it goes.

Would you kind elaborating on the difference between stock and your Koni setup with Wildpeak’s please?

I have Devonport’s with Wildpeak’s and would like a similar change in suspension at some point this year.

Just trying to get an idea on what to expect as reviews like yours think it’s a great upgrade.

I had Koni special front and rear shocks fitted by CRS nearly three years ago, along with Evo Technik front and rear springs, and H&R anti roll bars, and with 20inch Wolfrace wheels and Nankang 245/45 20 tyres fitted. Last year I drove the NC500, so prior to this I replaced the wheels and tyres for the 17 inch Black Rhino wheels and Falken tyres, which had an immediate impact on the traction,,,,, a lot better grip, ( and I found actually smoother), especially in bad weather.
I have recently been back to CRS, and had the front and rear springs upgraded to new Evo Technik, the rear springs with hight adjusters. While I was there they also had front arm bushes replaced. The advice I was given by CRS was excellent.
Im happy with this set up, but the change from 20 inch to 17 inch, with Falken tyres, was, I found to be a massive improvement, perhaps not so much in the comfort of the ride (which I was happy with anyway), but more in the firmness and safety of the traction, the grip and feel on the road, imho.

Perhaps I'm old fashioned, (wifey would agree), but personally I prefer the 'racehorse' look of my 20's to the 'shirehorse' agricultural look of Swamper wheels. Having had Steve do his magic on my suspension over 2 years ago (koni and H&R) coupled with great all weather Michelin CC2's, the ride and traction is spot on.
Folk said 'don't do Skye' on 20's, we had no issues. There's enough rubber on those CC2's to avoid wheel damage, previously having 2 cracked rims on a 35 profile.
Steve for President! Replace that orange feller!

Won't some of the grip difference be down to those Nankangs beloved of wheel and tyre combo sellers though?
More than likely,,,, and if I knew three years ago what I know now, I personally wouldn't have had them fitted, along with the 20 inch alloys.... but that was my choice, at that time. You live and learn, and I'm happy with the set up that I currently got now. Each to their own!

I would have to agree with you…if we were talking about fitting shirehorse feet and shoes to a racehorse, but the Transporter is hardly akin to a racehorse in any guise. What you’ve actually done is more like fitting racehorse feet and shoes to a shirehorse. 🤪

EDIT: Apologies to @CRS Performance for derailing the topic in this last post btw. The preceding response from @RickyG was very useful for my decision to go that route with you guys later in the year though.
