This is what mainly puts me off these Chinese lights, almost everyone has problems with them. I notice you had a faulty rear one sent as well @Buzznitro ?
Could you post a before and after pic of the mods you intend to carry out,id like to do the same to mine. Ti be fair I've not even opened the box yet to see what theyre like!.

Yeah, kinda takes the shine off the whole thing when you put it like that.Sat here having a cuppa thinking WTF, I’ve spent 49K on a van that can’t be driven over 60MPH at night, spent another 400 quid on head lights and then another couple of hours to make the brand new lights fit for purpose!
Do you think they have worked out it's the modding, tinkering and posting the results that we enjoy. So they intentionally leave a bit for us to do - just to keep us interested.Yeah, kinda takes the shine off the whole thing when you put it like that.
The thing is, 19yrs ago everyone was saying "If only they made 'em like they used to"I spend more time working on my 3 year old van than my 19 year old A4, if only they made ‘em like they used to.

Well gents been to THQ today, I have got to say first class service from them, Andy and team sorted my issues with my lights I was just unlucky, rears fitted and fronts.
Thanks THQ.
Wow, that’s pit lane quick.I had mine fitted last Friday at THQ (black versions), no issues at all with them. The light projection is much better, I went for the super white bulbs which do give whiter light output.
I also went for the LED foglights, a bit gimmicky but look good.
The customer service at THQ was excellent. Turned up at 2.30pm, got a brew shoved in my hand and they immediately got cracking. I was out of there at 3pm a very happy camper!
