Ordered some black V2s with looms today.
I’m hoping the loom will allow enough slack to connect and test without stripping the front end off
If they don’t walk the talk they are going straight back to Transporter HQ.
Looking forward to the pics. Are they the black or the chrome?View attachment 39982 Hi guys received my lights today fitting tomorrow rears and fronts give the low down on installation.
Will do, waiting on some split conduit to be delivered.Could you post a before and after pic of the mods you intend to carry out,id like to do the same to mine. Ti be fair I've not even opened the box yet to see what theyre like!.
before I used the HQ Transporter video to remove bumper on your own ok.
I decided to cover my lights first in good old cling film, didn't want to scratch anything.
as previously mentioned wiring loom looks a bit, well not factory
I wrapped the loom in cloth tape

this it fitted to the existing light connector, the aftermarket connector are a little awkward so ensure good push together and click
Bulb upgrade I bought from HQ
I installed the bulbs one at a time pulled off the connectors they seamed ok connection they are spade terminals with silicone sleeve
I gave each terminal a little squeeze, my opinion only this is not necessary, I don't want these to be loose.
Bit fiddly as you can see, I have fat fingers!
I also dressed the loom on the light with the cloth tape

Installed the light to the van, oh there are 2 x washers supplied taped to the light top on 1 x light only, this is an extra sent from HQ to install with this screw fixing, I didn't find this until the very last minute of the day.
