To answer your question, mine is a T32 with T28/30 kit on it as I am never going to go near the load limit for recreational use. Maybe that is why the ride is very good.
The springs are the same on both the kits dont worry

Interesting comments both ways and of course it highlights my views from Day one , The lower you take a vehicle the firmer the ride will be , ( there are practical limits to removing travel from a vehicles suspension ) The members who have followed CRS since the early days will note that I was very apprehensive about low vans and Height adjustable kits. After lowering thousands of cars in 30 years in the industry and listening carefully to customers needs I was originally shocked at the amount of height adjustable kits that were being sold here in UK for Transporters and some of these kits were a little dubious as we have seen over the last year ) The reason we were so successful initially was that we only sold kits that lowered vans 40 to 50 mm ,max and this i still maintain is a safe height if comfort is paramount , . after 6 months of selling these kits we were bombarded with requests to do lower drops . After discounting the Kits pushed by many Transporter specialists as not ideal we opted to go with the H&R kits as they are genuine Products designed and manufactured by H&R with TUV certification and we have been very successful with these kits , Although they are rated at 50 to 80 mm we normally adjust them around 65 ,mm to get the best balance of comfort and Handling possible . The T 32 kit from H&R of course uses the upside down Mono tube technology which is very efficient and can cope with extreme lateral loads experienced in a T 32 fully loaded . We have seen too many kits sold in to T32 s that simply are not fit for purpose and can not cope with the weight . The down side of this is firmness in ride quality .
Many clients love it and some wont , The problem for suppliers of suspension is that we can not tell if the client will like it or not . Test driving a van to get an impression of the ride doesn't always help because if you own a T 28 empty van and test drive a T 30, 4 motion with twin doors Auto box and plenty going on inside the ride will be drastically different with the same kit fitted !! . You will recall my comments regarding 1 spring fits all on coil over kits isn't ideal ( all the coil over suppliers do this ) How many T 32 owners have said their standard van drives great when loaded up ?? It is the same problem that B 14 clients have when adjusted to max height and the van is 80 plus mm low , the kit is 40 to 70 mm spec . The spring doesn't have sufficient rate .

To try and understand how and why a suspension system works can be difficult , BUT what you need to remember is that if a Kit is designed to do 50 to 80 mm in a T 32 as an example it will be designed to cope with the load weight at the 80 mm so it can get an approval like TUV. it has to be strong enough to carry the weight of the vehicle at that drop this means unloaded or a lighter van ( nothing in the rear ) it will be harsher on the ride . Hope this makes sense ,

As I said the dealers who supply suspension know what they are selling, BUT they cant possibly predict or know if the result will suit a particular customer and the results are different from Van to van , So this is why we sometimes change the kit after fitment if it isn't doing what we expect it to do. Bigsidavies experience is a testament to this . We all know and love the H&R product , I don't think there is any Transporter accessory companies that don't sell their kits at some point or other but the heaviest 40 mm kit they do in a really heavy van normally cant get above 60 mm , . Somethings we have to just accept .
We look forward to helping GordonHR soon.

My experience isn't detrimental to CRS Performances service in any way; and the reason I went to see Steve was because of all the positive feedback I have read and the fact he will allow me to swap the kit to my satisfaction.

Thanks for your input Steve

Sounds like that might have something to do with it yes...

See you soon , hoping that soon wont be months ha ha

Still loving the ride quality on my KW's. It's the test drive at CRS that is the icing on the cake for me, as the route Steve suggests takes in a good few turns and roundabouts. It was the roundabouts that really gave me the feedback i was looking for. I can't wait for the Welsh border to open properly, so we can open the bus up and get some time back in the motherland. 5 stars from me.

@CRS Performance , u can take my money anytime, the experience there was just as enjoyable as the trip home
I’m still convinced they swapped my van when I wasn’t looking
Top service guys
Couldn’t be happier
That Kit is the ultimate all round market leader For sure .
the factory still struggle to keep up with our orders. But I guess that makes it an even more desirable kit

It does make you question what on earth VW are doing letting vans out of the factory the way they do
