those who run standard 18 amarok steelies, what tyre pressures are you running?
Got mine on today, with 235/50 Michelin cross climates and got the garage to stick 44psi in as it sounded about right???

Van is not loaded up, T30 kombi with insulation and carpet.

Do the rears look to have a bit less "Wall Bulge" than the fronts?;
If so I would down air the rears a little until they "bulge " the same as the fronts; but have the same pressure in both rears

Hello all,

bought a set of Amarok Cantera 19's which have come straight off a new Amarok, so they're wearing a set of mint Conti 255 55 19, which are obvs too big for my T6.

I'm thinking of putting a set of 245 45 19's - any other suggestions to consider? It's a T28.
At some point I'll be hoping to get a 40mm drop or so, so with that in mind, what would be the recommended tyre size, profile etc, plus any models!
Thanks all.

245/45s are fine and comfortable, I've also ran 245/40s but I was lowered 100mm on solows at the time

Just got these today, VW Amarok Posadas 17" from a new Amarok (originally silver re-powder coated in "Tesla - Sonic Carbon wheel colour"
I really like the deep relief, the centre part is set really deep, so you get a real 3D colouring.

Now I got the above because I want to try either of the below, which I can only have in 17" sizing for my Vel...

225/65/17 Pirelli Scorpion AT+ or
235/60/17 Michelin Agilis ClimateCross

Decisions Decisions........ Going to order one of the above tomorrow......

I run 245/45/19 on mine and only ever buy budget brands of tyres as I'm no speed merchant. If I go too fast round a corner I tip over everything in the fridge!

Love the look of those. Please do post a picture once on the VanView attachment 95019
:thumbsup::thumbsup:
I'm sat here about to order the Pirelli Scorpion 225/65/17, then I keep thinking ohhhhh, the Michelin Agilis CrossCliamte do look nice as well.
Pirelli £95 each; Michelin £180+ each...
Everything I believe about T6 tyres tells me Michelin ACC, but I so do want to try the Pirellis S AT+ :oops::rolleyes:

Hi all, cheers for the input and pics - look great.

I've gone for Maxxis 102 load rated 245 45 19's.

If anyone is interested, I have a matching set of Continental XL 255 55 19's with around 5/6mm on all round available!

I’m thinking about changing my 16 inch Claytons for 18 inch wheels. Can anyone confirm are the Durban’s a straight swap?
