Nothing beats the OEM LED install.

We'll all happily suggest that you spend the money, but only you can justify the "investment" to yourself.
Are the OEM's really that much different? I've tried looking, but I can't find any side by side comparisons.

I took the bumper off and fitted them on bench in garage ... Id like to see someone fit in situ .. they are trivky enough with the collar adapter and exposed led .. best done off the van I thought

Fitted Transporter HQ V2 lights and their led bulbs and as much as i love them, there is a but............the shadows the led bulbs cast are really annoying me. I have twisted them to where they are at their best but i can still see a shadow on the road.

To anyone who has fitted HID's....will they be better with no shadows and give the same light output ?

I've fitted 5k HID kit to my THQ v2 lights. No shadows excellent light output. I did have to get them set on the mot beam tester at my local garage cost £10. The beam was out a fair bit. Since adjustment the output seems better.

To be fair, it's 73 pages :p no-one is going to read the whole lot. It could do with splitting or something for new folks to be able to catch up

I know what you mean, I read it on catch up and forgot most of it before I’d finished! But I bookmarked this above to help me remember what I’d decided to do when I get round to it (essentially whose approach is copy) and that just happens to be dubbers36 recommendation but recorded by bigmac so I think should answer your question

Ah , but I've taken away that the V3 lights are downright dangerous in bright light as the indicators are too dim...so we each will come to different conclusions!

Ah ok but regardless if v1,v2 or V3 the consideration for the lamp type used is the same though right?

They look great - which version are they, and were they difficult to fit?
Hi. They are the V3s. It was a bit frightening taking the entire front off the van but in fairness the THQ guidance video was really good and if I can do it, I’d say anyone can

Thanks. They really do look great! Did it take you long?
