Brilliant mate, cost about 500 quid but well worth it, fit nicely in the grille, type in Lazer lights they've already been done on here.
Doh! having a senior moment.I know what they are lol.I thought you meant the h1 bulb replacement,i need to upgrade my h1's to something similar to the hid i have in my h7.

Mine are very similar to these as previously mentioned. But I get a bulb warning light with mine on main beam.

VW turned the warning light off when it went in for a service. But as soon as I flicked the main beam on again, the light came in again.

These are supposed to solve the problem. But mine were supposed to be CANBUS compatible too anyway. So who knows.

I also got VW ri adjust the alignment. And this made a huge difference too.

I've just put some leftover cheap H7 LEDs in the main beam reflectors in my lads Scirocco and am really impressed with them. I've just ordered a set of H1s for my THQ main beams. They look a proper arse to fit with the lights in situ, so we'll see what happens.

I just put some new bulbs in my V1,s and got in such a pickle I ended up taking the bumper off and lights back out to change them.

You've got to be really careful not to dislodge the spring retaining clip when trying to get the bulb out.

Good luck.

Keen to hear how you get on..

By the time you've finished ripping the skin off your hands and arms, you might as well drop the top fixings out of your Bumper, you can leave the bottom fittings in and just hinge it forward to get at the headlamp screws.

I've been meaning to drop the bumper for months to attend to my misted up fog lights. So two birds and all that.

Just received a text message front the courier. My Traveline-lite versions will be here this afternoon! That’s damn impressive, I only ordered them late yesterday!

They’ve arrived. Less than 24hrs from ordering! Very impressive. Will have to wait until next week to fit though

Overall I’m happy with the upgrade. Way better than the stock H4. I bought the v1 version, anyone using an led bulb for the indicators? They’re not bad but could be brighter!

Worse on the drivers side (which matches the fog light!). Has anyone else noticed this?

I've had my V3's in since April and not had any issues. must be the seal that bonds the outer plastic to the body of the light thats faulty.

Had my V3 headlights fitted by THQ along with their LED bulbs. Took them less than 15 mins which included the coding to enable both bulbs on main beam. Went for black, had the option of the limited edition all black but preferred a bit of chrome. First impressions are good, really clear light driving in the dark and main beam is amazing. Range of light is ok but not fantastic but I would say there's no chance of blinding on coming traffic. Obviously they're never gonna be as good as OEM LED lights but then again they are a quarter of the price. I would also agree that the DRL and indicators could be slightly brighter but certainly no regrets swapping out my H4's.

Have any of you tried the new gt200 bulbs as a factory fit alternative?
Also, weighing up the difference between THQ v3's and a full OEM install. Planning on keeping the van until it dies and trying to decide if it's worth the investment. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

Nothing beats the OEM LED install.

We'll all happily suggest that you spend the money, but only you can justify the "investment" to yourself.
