Darn, just connected up and lost the dip beams all together, high still works as does the drl.
I connected the Black wire from the hid to the to black of the headlight supply, then and blue to red
Guessing its a fuse but I cant find it.
My van is a 2016 Euro 5 highline, 102PS.
Any ideas as I am now at a total loss and without night transport, HHHEEELLLLPPPP

Try switching the black and red round. Might be that and not a fuse.
I made an attempt at fitting the wiring harness for dipped + main T6 Transporter Headlight Harness but I am not 100% sure where the grey and brown wire from the relay go too.. anyone else fitted one of these? It says to connect to the van wiring harness with the posi taps but that means I have to unwrap a lot of cloth tape and it looks like there are two brown wires to choose from..
I’ll take a look at mine today and post photos.
Hi Mcdubbin, do you have a T5 or T6?
That's a T5 harness you have there, the T6 is plug and play with VW connectors, apart from a new 12V + to run from the battery.

You can do it with the headlights in situ, just a bit fiddly.
Remove airbox cover on driver side for a bit more room.
Fitting was easy.
Passengers side I just moved my battery to one side and on the drivers side I took to top off the air filter making access a doodle.
I mounted the ballast and controllers off a bolt on the inside of the wing.
If it were not for the off fuse issue I had, 30 mins top.
No light-out error displayed on the dash either, winner

I did wonder.. I have a T6 and the delivery note says T6 harness but the instructions said T5 I assumed they were basically the same..! I will call them and see what they say, thanks!

So I’ve just got round to fitting my terminator HID in my thq headlights all working fine. Looking forward to seeing how they are in the dark!
The Philips LED main beam that has never worked since installing them the other week still doesn’t work so I’ve put the old halogen main beam back in which works fine.
What have people found to be the best bulb for main beam? I’ve also just ordered the wire kit to keep dipped and main on together
