Can anyone confirm:

thanks,
Jan

@canaryben absolutely love the look of these, do you have a side profile shot of your setup? How do you find the speedo calibration?

I've been running 20" Vossen's and love the look but tired of gritting my teeth over every bump. Took the plunge for 17" Bola's with Wildpeak AT tyres and I think it actually looks better. As for the ride, it's like night and day. It feels so much smoother. Shout out to Bognor motors for great service.

Super Happy with these Rogue Alloys and Falken tyres would highly recommend.

Rogue Reaper 18”
Falken Wildpeak at3w 235/55/18.

Lee at Baja campers was also super helpful.

These look class. Did you use any spacers when mounting these? They look nicely level front and back. Any rubbing at all? I’m very tempted for the same but also considering 255/55/18 though worry about rubbing….mixed feedback on here

Cheers Mate, I love em.

No spacers and No rubbing at all, I do a bit of off roading getting to locations for work and even on big axle articulation there’s no rubbing.

Here you go, i think they have actually improved the accuracy of the speedo compared to the previous tyres.
I’ve just had a set of these delivered. Tried to fit them this afternoon but my bottle jack won’t lift high enough to get the new wheels on. Did you fit the wheels yourself? And if so what jack did you use / how much lift is required. My bottle jack has a lift of 413mm.

I assume that you're using a lot of the jack's extension just to reach the vehicle?
Can the jack be safely supported a bit higher up, to make the most of the 413mm?
Do you have axle stands too?

Lump of wood under the jack? Though I'd prefer a decent trolley jack any day.

Yes, almost full extension to reach the vehicle. I reckon I need an extra 60mm.
I will try and find a good solid chunk of timber at work.
Yes I have a set of axle stands. Safety first and all that!!

Fully agree TobyDub…. Swapped my 20’ navis domes which looked mega for a set of original vw gp’s 17’… powder coated with 235/65/17 cooper A/T’s … the ride is worlds different …. 👌…. I’m thinking of not going back …. 🤟

That’s looks epic!

Do you mind if I ask for more info on how they ride differently to 20’s? Comfort difference, but also how it is when cornering, etc in comparison. Noise comparison too. Are you running spacers at all too?

Any more photos of rear and full side shot?

I have a T32 T6 with 18” Sportlines and the Sportline springs fitted by previous owners, which I am torn on what wheels/tyres to go for in their place once I get the suspension sorted. It’s just crashy at the moment.

One feeds into the other so would be nice to know my plan before I start.

Wildpeaks or Coopers are sitting at top of list in this size presently. Same sort of stance being aimed for too.
