Yes 235/245 is your width. 55/65/70 is the tyre wall height. A 55 won’t look as tall as a 65. Mine below are 235/65 with a 17inch wheel. Judge for yourself if they look like balloons. I don’t myself and I love the ride & handling.

They look great, is yours lowered at all? Sorry for all the questions. Mine would be on standard suspension at the moment due to lack of cash! I’m just wondering if I can get some rogue alloys in their sale this week it will save me some cash. Can I ask why you choose 17 and not say 18s?

Mine is lowered about 50mm. I went 17s mostly because with 65 profile tyre it was closer to the rolling radius of the 18s I had previously. So meaning the speedo read about the right speed. Plus they look cool AF 😂

Cheers appreciate the answers, I’m on standard 16s at the moment but I tend to use Waze for my Speedo readings anyway.

I am having my Rogue Robust 2 alloys fitted this Friday. 17" with Falken AT3WA's . I'll post some pics on my T6.1 build thread this weekend. Used a January code for 11% off. Feb 14th offer is a good deal. Great company.

I’ve got Rogue Alloys mate. 235/55/18’s I went from standard 16”.

Really please with them, had them on the van over 12 months now.

Cheers mate I’m only up the road from Baja I’ve been down once very helpful but Rogue ahave 14% offer on this week, could I be cheeky and ask what sort of price I’d be looking at for something like yours?

I still can’t get my head around what the difference in those two size of tyres would do, is it the look or something more?
Further to what has already been said regarding width and height, the 55/65/70 etc. sidewall size is a percentage of the width, so not all 65’s for example have the same measured height. 65 being 65%.

So 235/65/17 means it’s 235mm wide with a sidewall that’s 152.75mm and being in a 17” wheel.

It’s about playing with the sidewall percentage alongside the width to get the desired look and feel. I went 17” because I wanted powder coated Devonport’s but probably would have chosen that size anyway, as that drop of one inch gives you an additional half an inch of sidewall height for same overall rolling circumference as an 18”.

Sorry to jump in mate but here is what I paid for my Rogues if it helps. Supply only inc delivery. Comms and delivery were spot on.

Local tyre place will swap over from my steels including swapping the active TPMS valves.

Thanks for that no idea what the active valves are? I have just standard 16 inch wheels on mine no idea if i have them or do I need them? A quick look on Rogue website seems they are £40 a pop! I have a t6.1 highline.

Do your tyre pressures show on the media vehicle info screen? If so they are direct ( active ) TPMS valves. And no, they are not cheap hence re-using mine.

Neighbour is having the tyres off my 16" steels as they fit his Transit and are nearly new. 4 x Steels I will give away free or scrap if no one wants them.

Cheers I don’t have that on my screen so just standard then.

Cheers, yes I agree, still loving the Mac-At's after 3 years. I've added a 15mm spacer on the rear now to balance it out a bit more.
Im ordering some Mac AT'S next month all being well. What spacers did you use and ahve you got any photos with the speacers attached for comparison? Glad the wheels are still going strong 3 years later!!

A great choice.

I went with THQ 15mm hubcentric spacers, 50mm radius bolts and lock nuts after speaking with THQ.

It's pretty subtle but makes the stance more balanced for a relatively small cost. Comparison here as well - Another Spacer Question - 15mm

Afternoon all.

After a toss up between all terrains and all seasons I finally settled on Yokohama Geolandar G061 CV 4S and I’m pleased. They still look a bit more rugged than most, are 3PMS all seasons, C fuel rating and B wet rating. Got them for £106 a corner plus a discount code!

I opted for 235/65/17s as per the photo (van needs a clean!). No rub on full lock which I was worried about. I’m stoked with how it looks though might swap out the centre caps for nut covers like others have done.

For those who wonder, as other threads, about what size spare will fit underneath I went for a 225/65/17 and managed to just get it in the spare wheel holder on the lower setting.

Will get some better photos soon if anyone’s interested.
