All terrain tyres - recommendations and pictures

so, they should fit fine; you may just notice the gearing change initally, but for most people it is soon forgotten. Do you carry heavy loads?
 
It's just going to have the camper conversion in the back and the family. Don't think the missus would take to kindly to being considered a heavy load though ;)

So the next question is silver or black wheels for van with AT tyres! I'm going round in circles and can't settle on a choice
 
..... of fuel consumption I do not take into account .... the rolling noise is evident from 40-80 km / h .... then other noises cover that of the tires .... a little attention more in the wet and go anywhere without problems .... the only problem (at least here in Italy) is the speed code ... S ... not approved in the booklet .. greetings
 
After much deliberation I’ve settled on Matt black 18” Dezent Dark TE with AT3’s. Obviously I’ll post pics as soon as they turn up

I’m still a bit baffled and need help please.
I’m powder coating some 17” steels and lowering the van (t32) on cobra 40mm springs.
What’s best tyre to use.
225 x 65 bf Goodrich or
235 x 65 grabber at3.
Also do I need spacers.

I would prefer the 225/65 .... even in the case of a puncture you would have room in the housing, if the K002 or the AT3 are better having used both, I would say that the K002 are more specialists .... and perhaps more robust on the hips ....

100% spacers 25mm all round or even slightly larger on the rears (your choice) HR+ are a good starting point.
SUV & Off Road Tyres - Car Tyres - Tyres - YOKOHAMA UK are available in 225/65/17 size 102 load rating (Not enough for a T32)
or 235/65/17 with a big 108 load rating
For me 235/65/17 is quite large in terms of rolling radius; and can have an effect on the drivability of the van re gearing, if you are heavily loaded etc etc unless you've got a mapped 204BiTDI or similar
 
Been looking at those tough torques. Notice they are mostly for Landy's. Did you need any spacers to clear the calipers or did they go straight on??
My discovery alloys needed 20mm spacers
