Replacing H4 Bulbs

No the H4 bulb is only for the dip/main beam

The DRL is a H11 I believe. You can swap this bulb to LED but to be honest its only for aesthetics as DRL's don't add anything significant to the light output at night.

Upgrading the main/dip H4 bulb will make a small difference but don't expect miracles!

H4 To H7 Upgrade

Replaced my standard H4 headlights on my 17 plate kombi highline with genuine H7 headlights from a 17 plate Caravelle. It's literally just plug and play, no warning lights, no VCDS, just swap and go. Does require removing the front bumper but really not as bad as it sounds. IMO the H7's are...

I put some H4 Philips Racingvision 200% bulbs in my father in laws Focus and he seems to be quite pleased with the result compared to the oem bulbs he had before, they're still rubbish but slightly less rubbish I guess

Hopefully is a quick answer -is this correct seating for H4 headlight bulb? It feels like the groove should be dead centre at the bottom in line with the guard arm but they look like are at an angle? Both are same. Thanks.
