Hi chestnut….. the ride is much smoother and cornering not really any different in my opinion …. There is a slight noticeable noise difference as they are obviously a noisier tire being AT’s…. My 20’s were harsh in comparison … the slightest cat eye felt like a boulder and pot holes made me cringe … 🤣👍… I put my navis domes away until i decide what to do …. (Next summer ) …. I have 15 mm spacers on the front and 30 mm on the rear …I think they look ok (obviously biased 🤣🤟)…only had them on a week and tbh I’m made up with them …. 🤟… hopefully the pics help you …

That’s a superb response and very useful, thank you @Scotty T. I really appreciate that.

Actually this has cemented my thoughts on going down this route. I was almost there, but hearing the experience of others is better when they’ve tried both extremes.

Now just need to decide which suspension to go with this setup.

What have you got fitted btw? What sort of drop is it set at?

I’m on Sachs’s springs by the looks of them
…I bought the van with them on and also the anti roll bars so the van is solid as a rock in terms of cornering and stance … 👍👍

So my Swamper journey has begun. Wheels sourced. Gone back to standard with Devonport’s but in powder coated black. 😍

Just need to decide on tyres. Probably Wildpeaks but not fully decided or sourced yet.

Just started converting mine to swamper from the usual lowered & 20's.
Gone with Black Rhino Boxers with Falken Wildpeak 245/65/17's
Back on stock T32 suspension (fronts still have to settle) but really pleased so far.
Need to source a replacement front bumper so I can ditch the ABT spoiler and get some wheel arch mouldings.

That looks awesome, I also want to get the wheel arches and side mouldings for mine.

Super Happy with these Rogue Alloys and Falken tyres would highly recommend.

Rogue Reaper 18”
Falken Wildpeak at3w 235/55/18.

Lee at Baja campers was also super helpful.

I've decided to copy @Pushirons, getting these Rogue Reapers fitted on Friday morning

Very cool, both of them. What size tyre on the 17’s and what drop on the can? @vintage_racing

225/65/17’s are what I am considering.
Pure grey van was on 40mm lowering springs - wheels & tyres package from Transporter HQ.
Ascot grey present van sits on Bognor Motors edition coil overs, with the 18s giving slightly less of a bulky look.
In both sizes these tyres run very well, quiet and no rubbing etc.

Cool, thanks. Were they 235/65/17 on the Pure Grey?

The hats what I am considering. Typo above said 225 in error.

Having driven in the mental rain back from Busfest on Sunday, my Wildpeak’s were excellent!

There was no sign of any aquaplaning or lack of grip of any nature. Very pressed with them overall.

I can also attest to that after an incredibly wet week on the Isle of Wight, the wildpeaks are top notch.
