Hi all, on the road down converting my shuttle to day van and was looking for some lighting advice. Was thinking about running my rear lights and sockets off the leisure battery (under the drivers with diesel heater) and replacing the bulbs to LEDs.
With there being so many lights and sockets...
I am planning where to put my power sockets when I fit my new van interior. I am having a fairly standard layout of worktop with units underneath, wardrobe, overhead locker and over sink locker. I am running a fridge, a 12v TV, maybe an electric heater when hooked up, possibly a kettle and have...

We recently helped our mate Andy on a basic 12v lighting circuit.
Hes mega Dyslexic and wanted an easy to follow diagram because the Haynes style wiring diagrams were spinning him out.
So we made one for him that he followed perfectly and it worked - it made a big difference to his confidence...
Hello, has anyone know a supplier or have a supply of either scotchlok or Posi taps that I can use to wire in some led bumper reflectors into the tail lamp looms?
I can't seem to find a local electrician or supplier that has the scotchlok with the female seals.
Planning to put three USB outlet sockets hardwired in the rear in the van.
Should I worry about the parasitic draw on the leisure battery or will the 160w Solar and usual driving cope?
I know there are a few variables at play here so the easier question is did you wire yours with a switch...
Run out of space in my DS fuse box in my camper conversion. The fuse box is properly supplied with thick cable.
Is there any reason I shouldn't run 2 outputs from 1 fuse? It's the last one I need and I'm loathe to change the fuse box as it's already a tight fit.
It'll probably just be 2x...

Evening all, I currently have a usb charging socket under the front passenger seat and the driver's seat. Is it possible to swap one of them to just a 12v socket so that it can power a DVD player?
Is it a case of just disconnected the wires from the rear of the socket, screwing out the existing...
I'm planning the 1st fix of electrics for a Kombi to Camper conversion and thought I'd put the plans down here to see if I'm making any major mistakes and see if anyone can answer a few questions i have.

Hi, I’m hoping one or two of you can help me out with adding a 12v cigarette lighter socket in the cargo area.
I’ve got a T6 Startline and want a socket in the rear that is only live when the ignition is on/engine running. I’ve heard of piggyback fuses but not sure what I need and where to...
I've got a dash cam to install in my T6, it's a fairly simple system, receives power from a 12v source, and turns on/starts recording when it receives power, and turns off when it doesn't.
Unfortunately I found out this morning that both 12v ports in the cabin are constant live, meaning the...
