I like that the led’s are hidden behind the Alcantara

Making use of the un-used grab handle holds for my switches.
Nearly ready for alcantara.

Finally after a few weeks work the top cubby is finished(apart from Alcantara).
Now I can start to plan the switches in the blanking plate for the lighting and hide the minefield of cables.

Ah ok you made the actual plastic yourself, I think that’s a bit beyond me.

Sorry for delay. Yeah 3D printed to shape then plastic welded to existing.. then filled and sanded to original.

Most definetly beyond my capability I think. Will have to see what I can do with some ply and carpet but it’s not going to be as good as yours

@ fish ok im going to try the 3d printing route dont suppose you have a solidworks stl file for the plate do you? I've ordered a cheap 3d printer how hard can it be

If not ill try to do one over the next few weeks and happy to make it available on here
