Made some turntable things to keep the drawers closed when roundabouting.
Fitted Ablemail thing to charge starter battery from PV. after removing Victron 12/12 30 (now for sale) as I found the solar was more than enough to keep the Leisure battery up.
Added a webbing handle and gravity catch for under bed drawer - for French roundabouts!

Someone’s been busy “fettling” - well done!

Im about to do this, how big of a job was it to take away the scuttle panel and wiper assembly?
Straight forward, 3 bolts and a connector for the wiper assembly. I needed a wiper arm puller to remove the actual wiper arms, couldn’t get them off by hand. Alarm and heated screen connections are in there too but again straight forward.

With the bike rack on I can’t see a thing behind. Blind reversing not my favourite.
Luckily I had it all planned and I had Parksure Solutions to install rear camera and connect it to the discover media.
In less than 2 hours they did the job in my driveway. What a fab service!thanks very much.

A couple of simple little mods this evening. ‘Sounds like a golf’ front door seals and dash trim to seal the gap between the dash and the windscreen (stops parking tickets and the like slipping into the void, never to be seen again). Both a doddle to fit and impressed as always with THQ service - that’s three separate orders now with free next day delivery.

Took her for a spin afterwards, definitely less road noise and the doors now shut with a satisfying ‘thunk’

A right royal PITA. Make sure you have a wiper arm puller before you start otherwise you won’t get far. I got mine from Amazon, worked a treat. Also don’t lose the wiper arm plastic nut cover as they an extortionate £3 each

Also get some decent anti cut gloves.

If you have a heated screen be careful with the three connectors as they are super thin and looked easy to snap.

Looking on Amazon for this unit, it’s 2 or 3 time’s the price of many of the other options (it’s advertised at £26.21). Was there a reason you chose this one over the others? I think there may be a few of us who pick one up if we’re going to soundproof the scuttle panel. Thanks

I looked around at others and read reviews on how they snapped when using them. This unit was reviewed outside of Amazon and got great reviews plus it’s adjustable hence good for future tasks which in my book is a win, win.

Expensive but you get what you pay for these days, buy cheap, buy twice.
