VCDS Tweaks.

I have factory fitted LED headlights. Is there any reason I cannot see module 20 on VCDS (Latest ver) When I scan for it I receive a message "no response from controller"

What kind of module are you expecting to reach under address 20?

High beam assist isnt included with led headlights. High beam assist is an optional extra. Do you have high beam assist?

You are correct mate. What are you trying to achieve?

Is this possibly relevant to your case ---> Transporter 2018 + HEX V2 - Page 2 see Sebastian's post at 12-16-2018, 01:43 AM
There is a mention that a LIN-BACKUP HORN is needed. It is found under 09-Cent. Elect (J519) if installed. Perhaps as Subsystem 5.

Hi
Thanks will try again tomorrow at work.
Only want horn noise as my wife’s car has it .
Thanks again

It doesn’t use the normal horn it uses the alarm horn (siren) which you won’t have if it’s not a highline as this is the only model that has factory alarm

Funny u can activate the horn through this ecu’s activations list

Cornering Lights Speed Adjustment
BCM (module 09):

Adaptation Channel 32 - cornering light threshold speed. From the factory = 40 km/h.
Verified at ---> Cornering Lights Speed Adjustment Thanks @Dieseldonkey

Presumably also the following (from OBD11 developmental data):
Channel 33 - angle of steering wheel to switch on. Default = 90.
Channel 34 - angle of steering wheel to switch off. Default = 30.
Channel 37 - intensity o_O Abbiegelicht: Helligkeit. EDIT: Default = 80.
