Hi Pauly, is there a hack for the following in Headlights?
"C107E 54 [10001001] - Missing Calibration / Basic Setting!"
Evening, Everything seems to be working ok on the lights front, dash warnings are gone, and all indications are correct, including MFD. Just working my way through the fault list now. I am sure snooping around in the "drop-downs" there was a basic settings....could have dreamed it. I hope to have time on it tomorrow afternoon. I am finding it all very interesting this VCDS and coding( for an oldie like me)- but don't want a dead van on my drive if I mess it up lol. I have included the latest scan....the sporadic event in address line 10 no faults but flags up! It says something like unit not registered? Still no joy with the ALWR.....I will owe you and F-roger a beer of two! What has changed with the coding update?
Pauly - went back to basics! All voltages present and correct. I then noticed the sensor plugs have a purple retaining clip....push this into place on the front sensor , probably holding the contacts off by about 3mm - fault cleared. Repeated for rear. All faults bar the radio have cleared - Basic settings done and accepted. Many thanks for your patience with an olde boy! Just the radar bracket to change...but not this weekend. Cheers BuddyCalibration/basic setting is done by parking on flat level ground and going into module 55 and running basic settings, this will tell the vehicle what its base parameters are, if done succesfully the headlights will dive and then level and the fault will be gone but you cannot run basic settings when the levelling controller cant see the level sensors which is what your fault scan is reporting !
You need to check that level sensor wiring and connections and get them working first

You are paying to ensure they are road legal.is the cost so expensive just because you are upgrading the componants inside original lights? Can you not just buy LED upgraded units for less money?
Only kit i can find for a transporter is this one - 7E0 998 225 Volkswagen Transporter Kombi (2010 - 2011) - halogen headlights. > VAG ETKA Online > Nemiga.com - which is for a T5. When VW updated the platform to the T6 (2016–2019), they completely redesigned the headlight housing. I found this info online: "They stopped providing pre-marked screw holes or official bolt-on replacement tabs for this specific generation. In the official VW parts catalog (ETKA), no tab repair kit exists for the T6 housing." Looking at my LED headlights I indeed see no pre marked screw holes for tab repair kits or such.Given that all three types of headlights for the T6 mount in the same way, I can't see there being any difference in that part of the headlight body or mounting tabs. I would have thought that the repair kit will work. Having said that, it will be more than secure with three fixings instead of four. Triangulation and all that.
