Hi pal it only comes on when I put it in reverse saying I’ve a bulb out but they’re all on! I got the led smoked ones from THQ!

are the resistors

reverse light is the Green/black wire;

fed from the BCM as an output,

the gearbox reverse switch is an input to the BCM,

it looks like they are saying you need to add TWO of the green resistor packs.

So the black and green wire on the resistor needs attaching to the green and black at the back of the light cluster?

yes,

so its showing that you add in the two extra connector fly leads, and use the red splice connectors,

then plug in the extras. . . .

i think they are saying for you to check what version resistor you have already. . .

so you add in one extra each side,

or did they send you 4 green resistor packs? - in that case its two on each side.

I see so I’m swapping a resistor on back of light cluster for the new one they sent!!

Just sent one for each side!

The only thing I find is the reversing lights are pretty useless, guess that's fashion over function

you could try swapping . . . and testing

but the document is showing that you are ADDING the new two (in parallel with the existing two)

this shows the standard pin layout for the T6 (my18) drivers side, which has ALL 6 pins . . . (because drivers side has FOG light, passenger side has NO FOG light)

Drivers side:
1 - grey/white (fog light)
2 - green/black (reverse)
3 - grey/red (tail light)
4 - brown (earth)
5 - black/green (indicator)
6 - black/red (brake)

1 - nc (green bung)
2 - green/black (reverse)

that diagram is different . . . thats for the 6pin T6.1 Halogen lights by the looks of it.

what is your van? a T6 or a T6.1?

my lights had this:

this shows the standard pin layout for the T6 (my18) drivers side, which has ALL 6 pins . . . (because drivers side has FOG light, passenger side has NO FOG light)

Drivers side:
1 - grey/white (fog light) - Blue resistor pack?
2 - green/black (reverse) - white wire?
3 - grey/red (tail light) - green resistor pack
4 - brown (earth) - black wire
5 - black/green (indicator) - Yellow resistor pack
6 - black/red (brake) - RED resistor pack

so on this light the WHITE wire does reverse? and has no resistor pack.

the T6.1 has different wires to the T6,

the sheet is showing you how to add a resistor pack to the reverse line.

your plugs will be different, and the packs will be different. ( than my T6 version)

my set are for a T6.

maybe you can post a few close up pics of your lights and connectors when you take them off?
