Im not sure how you would get T6 lights to work on that, thats not what any of the wiring i make is for

I have been told by someone who has done it before and working on his T5/t6 facelift van to follow the wire diagrams on here from 10pin to 14pin but ignore the range control module pins and BCM as that isn't used on the older models Thanks again

On the old t5, you will not be able to activate the parking lights mode (the cilia shine dimly), there will always be a DRL mode (the cilia are bright)

I believe I just need a set of 10-14pin looms in this configuration ignoring pins 1-4 and pin 14 & 10 on the 14 plug is this something you could give me a price on @Pauly

Anyone have a simple way to test the LED units before installation? Just to verify all the ballasts and led units are working?

Hello everyone, thanks again for everything and I managed to connect the LED lights with your help and the forum. Everything works for me, the only problem is that the automatic lights don't work, when it's dark, they don't switch to regular lights. Thanks for the help. Peter

The most important thing is steel parts
They work on my van
for 9 months
The hardest part was to find the 6R0 907 357

Good evening all.

As a complete novice at VCDS programming help needed

I am reaching out to the forum ( Already msg Pauly & Robert who asked me to raise here). I decided to take the plunge and fit OEM LED headlights and the ALWR. The harnesses x2 were sourced from Kufatec and fitted ok - cables changed around due to LHD not RHD.
BCM wired along with ignition live, etc.
Initial issue was I have barn doors on the van and removed the B56 PWM cable - lots of issues - since resolved via re-reading this thread ( Jointed B28 and B56 PWM). All parts sourced via eBay and parts companies - lights are working as advertised thus far - phew!

The Issues are in programming them to operate with the ALWR, basic set up, calibration . So your help is needed please....treat me like it's a Fisher-Price toy!

For some of you may be laughing but just dont want to mess it up.....

I have the following code: A0 A4 30 3A 0A 61 34 31 93 28 4f 74 6C EB B8 E7 40 00 84 73 88 60 21 59 E0 33 04 00 22 08 40

The van is a SWB 2019

Many thanks in advance for any support offered - its appreciated in advance.

Regards

Martin

Im a bit tight on time right now so will have to revisit the coding later but first look at your scan shows lots of issue, some of which have to be wiring
Can you upload your original scan before any changes please, i find it easier to see what you have changed

Im assuming you have tried to clear all these faults and these are all persistent and return after clearing ?

09
01495 - Bulb for High-Beams; Left (M30)
01499 - Bulb for High-Beams; Right (M32)
These could be coding issues or incorrect power modules used

13
1541 - Sensor for Automatic Distance Regulation; Incorrectly Positioned
Have you refitted the bumper correctly ?
Is the radar bracket securely fixed and stable ?

19
01771 - Control Module for Headlight Range (J431)
004 - No Signal/Communication - Intermittent
Is it reachable, can you reset this code, does it come back ?

55
5275220 - Headlight
C107E 54 [10001001] - Missing Calibration / Basic Setting
This will go when basic settings are done but you need to resolve the below first
5256725 - Rear Left Ride-Height Sensor
5256213 - Front Left Ride-Height Sensor
Have you fitted and wired the ride height sensors ?

Address 77: Telephone
Cannot be reached
Not sure why this is showing ?
Did you mistakenly add it to the gateway list ?

A quick inspection of the encoding tells me that the value of the very last byte should be 60, and it also seems to me that there are problems with PWM encoding for all lighting devices.

Just looked at the other scan you sent me a there were no faults in the gateway on that one and also low beam faults to go with the high beam faults (which would point more towards a coding issue?)
You need to be clear with what you have done and what you havent done etc what parts you have or havent fitted etc

More info required !

Hi there, could you explain - what 60 is in the code? Novice!

I purchased VCDS a couple of weeks ago, got it all set up, and today of all days, an update to the software happened, and the scan I loaded was of today's findings...all sensors wired up and connected - everything seem to be working fine. Sensor for the Automatic Distance Regulation is broken, I had someone try to pull it off, a new bracket has been ordered. All the parts are from those listed on this thread. ( See below)

I have requested the scan from the garage that fitted the BCM wires, as I dont know what they did. From reading the thread, they probably set up the gateway and 55 then ran into central locking issue due to B56 and B28 issue. Everything seems to be working on the van apart from those listed.

Somehow along these steps - I think you can do this even ignition off - driver's door open

VCDS > Select Control Module > 09-Cent.Elect. > Coding > Long coding helper

Enter 29 into marked box - then replace 40 --> 60. Exit, Do it, etc.

Should clear the BCM faults. Well, of course you need to clear them.
VCDS > Select Control Module > 09-Cent.Elect. > Fault Codes > Clear Codes

Then turn ignition on, start engine, twiddle the lights - check if the BCM faults return -
VCDS > Select Control Module > 09-Cent.Elect. > Fault Codes

Hi Pauly, is there a hack for the following in Headlights?

"C107E 54 [10001001] - Missing Calibration / Basic Setting!"
