I also have the advance on the 2 year lease. Love hate relationship at the moment. Only fully charging to 70 miles max so I called the service manager and he said he has not seen one that charges to over 70 miles?

I have a couple of friends who have recently got electric cars, (a ID.3 and a Peugeot 2008) and neither get anywhere near the claimed range. They are both using them for motorway journeys though, which gives the motors very little opportunity the recharge.

After 6 months of driving l can say there is no way you can drive more 45-50 miles with one charge. I accelerate like a pedestrian and drive 20-30m/h. Charging time is about 10 hours and not 5.5.

I think I'd have rejected it about 5 months ago as not fit for purpose / not as described. It's only going to get worse as the temperatures drop.

It doesn't look good for the future of e-vans Vs diesel power. (Or petrol)

@Lacitaly Yes I agree with you and the fact it only charges at 16amp on AC is outrageous.
