**** Transporter HQ T6.1 LED Headlights ****
THQ announced a pre-sale order on these earlier in the week - All 200 sold out within 24 hours. They are LED main and dip beam with LED indicators. Available in black and chrome.
We have secured 12 sets of them, and these will be available at the end of the month on a full drive in-drive fitment basis - We will also have them fitted to a demo so you can see them in operation.

On the THQ page it says these are fully MOT compliant….but then goes on to say that the H7 LED bulbs are for for off road use only.
Surely it’s one or the other? Or are they saying only the light unit itself is MOT compliant?
THQ say they are MOT compliant, and they look to be as the bulbs are in a projector lens and they haven’t been adapted for LEF. Not sure why their website says different? I’ll ask them.

Only if you’ve got headlight washers I think
They 'should' pass an MOT because the beam pattern is OK and the tester can't see that they are LED bulbs because they are hidden behind the projector and have no visible external gubbins that HID kits do. Passing an MOT and being legal are 2 different things tho', but I'm not going to preach about the rights and wrongs seeing as I have HIDs and LEDs in my headlights.
Regarding washers, it used to be that lights producing more that 2000 Lumens needed auto levelling and washers. Some vehicles had lower powered xenons (25W rather than 35W) to avoid having to engineer a different set up. Our Tiguan which has all singing and dancing IQ LED headlights doesn't have washers either.

Another van just finished and hit the forecourt. We’ve owned this 150ps DSG Kombi from new and have finished the full BMVS Sport conversion / Full details on our website - link in signature….

They have been custom painted in Lamborghini bronze.
Our THQ a headlights turned up today and we did the Did the first install on them - So impressed with these - the quality of the build, clean LED light output and OEM+ looks. We have four sets left out of the 12 that were delivered. These will be a hit for sure
