Not van related but BMVS related……we have finally got the TCR on its first trackday tomorrow - in fact 1 of two this week - Thruxton, then Goodwood on Friday.

The GTI is already very well sorted - 400ps/563nm and various upgrades (see previous post), but we added the following to further enhance;

Vagbremtechnic 356 rear discs and Ferrodo Ds2500 pads
Racingline oil catch can
2 new Michelin Cup Sport 2 tyres
NGK 7438-8 spark plugs
Recalibrated the DCC suspension
Hunter alignment
1st service with Millers CFS 5w40NT+

I’ve spent the weekend bedding the rear brakes in and coupled with the front Revo/Alcon 380mm stoppers she stops on a six pence again and again and again

Had a cracking day at Thruxton today. Been a year building and perfecting this car, and it all paid off today. 120+ miles at 110% and it was faultless.

This beautiful T6.1 camper van arrived with us yesterday for the following work - All was completed on a drive in, drive out basis, with a courtesy vehicle supplied for the day, so a very wet Bognor Regis and the surrounding areas could be explored;

Looks awesome, any idea what make the front spoiler is on the Ascot T6.1 ?

This is my van. The splitter came on the van from the converters, believe it is a Leighton Vans one.

how do you find the upgraded breaks?

Very impressed James! Bedding in procedure took some understanding but they are epic. Does help that they look awesome behind the new black wheels.

Takes the asthetics to a new level, I think if you have great suspension, ARBs and tyres you may as well also get high quality brakes.

Now thinking about audio options, upgraded steering wheel etc…..Oli and the gang are a bad and expensive influence!!

Hi -

What size and model are the goodyears you have put on the VLR08s please?

The reason I ask is I have picked up a cheap set of VLR 08's off ebay and they are away for refurb/powdercoat and will need new tyres when they return.
