Finally got my Amorok’s fitted.... after weeks of trying to find a decent deal on a tyre I finally bit the bullet and went with a set of 275 40 19 105y Nexen. The ratings are brilliant and reviews were were very good too.
Well, here’s a before / after. Now I need to get the sportlines re-furnished and powder coated and my winter tyres fitted.

look really nice. Where did you go for tyres? I’ve used blackcircles in the past for convenience of fitting at home and also if you get a discount code!

I ordered the tyres off Camskill as they ended up being cheaper than Oponeo, Black Circles and Tyreleader.
I then used a local tyre fitting company who i've been using for 10yrs to fit the tyres, move the spaces from front to back, and mount the 19's.
I already had 10mm spacers up front so those went to the back and the alignment of the outer wheel edge front to back is really good.

If anyone is interested, I'm going to be selling my 20" BBS XA alloys shortly. They're satin black with a polished face and these are 9.5J (42 offset) PM me if you want any photos (they're shown on my profile photo too)

Hi @ZipcodeUK - I have managed to pick up a set of these 19" Amarok canteras for my 4M T32.

I'm about to pull the trigger and get some tyres for them but still debating whether to go 255/45 or 275/40 both available with the higher load rating.

Can i ask if you needed spacers with the 275/40...? If so did you need longer bolts...

Thanks

Hey pal, i went with the 275.40.19 105xl. You don't need a spacer for them to fit / not scrub. I am running a 10mm spacer on the rear with longer bolts though just to get the look i was after.

I’ve just taken off my 19” wolfrace black with diamond rim, tyre are great! going super cheap £400?

Many wise 20" members???? of this forum, seem to feel that 265/40/20 is the optimum size, not sure if your et45 alters that

I’m running that size tyre on a set of wheelworx wraiths (came with the van) and are 275/40/20s. Photo attached. B485581E-08AB-4D51-AD58-3DFAA1BDA516.jpeg

check out https://www.willtheyfit.com/

you can see the difference between your current wheels and what you want to run.
On loadings I think (correct me if I’m wrong) but as long as the axel total weight is 1,700kg** then that would total 3,400kgs and so safe for a T32.

** edit** by total axel weight, I mean the max loading of tyres and wheels. Eg if the wheels are rated to 850kgs and tyres are suitable then that axels max load is 1,700kgs....

880 is fine for T32. Front axle weight is 1710kg and rear is 1720 so you need 860 minimum.

275/40/20 will be OK with 50mm lowering, but 265/40 is better for keeping the speedo more accurate, they also look better on the rim than the wider 275. I had 275 on my van when I bought it but now run 265 and prefer the look.
