Update ....

DRL repair purchased and installed with Twenty20 LED's. If I'm honest, the LED's are a little to blue/white in colour temperature, but I'll not be removing the bumper and light units again in a hurry despite my speed at it the second time round.

Also installed Nightbreaker 200% H11's in the fogs to go with the 200% H7's in the dipped and main beam. All in less than £200 spent for light units and the bulbs. That's better than £600 I nearly spend V3's. TBH I'd prefer some OEM LED's..... but the H7 units doing a good job so far.

I am finally getting the H7 lights I bought fitted. I have some bulbs already in place, but need sidelight bulbs.

With my awesome Microsoft Paint level of skills I have highlighted the bulb I need below.

What's the current consensus on best bulb for this?

Nothing special as it’s barely visible when the headlights are on (I never drive with just sidelights). I went with these ‘whiter’ halogen ones from Halfords

You must have yours configured differently to mine. My DRL' s are only on with no lights or parking(side) lights. Definitely off with main and high bea

I thought they would be off with dipped beam too but I double checked before posting above and they stay on. I guess that is a fail safe so you have some light on that side if the dipped H7 fails. The only change I did with Carista was to code the dipped beam to stay on with main beam. Odd!?

Edit - just seen you said DRLs. Mine are the same as yours. Post was re the W5W side lights, not DRLs.

Yep… I went for whiter ones too as they give less of a yellow tinge when they’re on next to the H7’s

Hi all. Apologies if this is a numpty question but would T6.1 H7s be compatible with a T6 van or is it a different fitting etc? The reason for asking is that I've recently swapped out my standard H7s on my T6.1 for THQ LEDs. So I'm now trying to gauge the best way to shift my old H7s and whether the only interest I'll get is from T6.1 owners needing replacement units due to damage etc. Thanks in advance.

Can this no longer be done on Carista?
