Glow plug fault code PO671 causing issues with reductant system and catalyst efficiency?

I’ve got an Engine warning light on the dash, on inspection it’s given me PO671 - bank one glow plugs, but it’s also flagging up P204F and P20EE, these relate to the reductant system performance and catalyst efficiency of bank one.

Is it possible that the faulty glow plug is causing the emissions issues? Or should I settle in and await a large repair bill?

Van is still driving fine, no change to performance or mpg and no visible smoke.

If you search on the codes you'll find a number of threads, be aware it's P0 (zero) not PO (letter)

First guess is they are not connected except perhaps by age.

A thread on testing glow plugs here:

And welcome!

Thanks for that. I’d had a look through the past threads and was hoping that a dodgy glow plug might be causing the emissions issues. It looks like that might not be the case and I’m awaiting a big bill!
