Morning you handsome bunch! So I’ve been away just over 1k miles started the old girl up 2017 early plate t32 high line abs the engine light stayed on just yellow! Plugged in Carista and it’s came up saying cylinder one open. So my plan is to check the relay and fuses under the battery and go from there. Anything I should look for? Change the relay is going to be the 1st thing. she’s still running fine not hard to start etc and just under 80k so if it’s the glow plug which is number one glow plug and it’s location? interestingly mine has done exactly this same this morning, came up with P0671, I cleared the code and will take it for a spin did you have any luck? @saltychef_roamer
Done the same I’ve checked the relay and it’s fine looking ordered a new one just to try I might try the egr spray in the air intake just to see. I can clear the code but then the next day it just comes back
A faulty glow plug has nothing to do with the EGR or the engine's running. It only affects starting and is tested when you turn on the ignition.
Anyone any pictures please if the location of all the go oh w plugs and the number order. Number one is saying it’s open so will test them all once I’ve done and stripped etc. can anyone give me a how to please thanks
