tailgate

My tailgate electric tailgate seems to want to auto close on its own even in the slightest breeze or when someone moves around in the van. Is there a way of adjusting the sensitivity to stop it auto closing and scaring the life out of my Wife. nevertheless, It is funny to watch.

Looking for some ideas. I have a solid tailgate and would like some inspiration on how to cover the inside of the blanket window. I’ve carpeted the low wooden panel and want to leave the rest metal but happy to have ideas for where the window would be. Some pics attached of my tailgate
