What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

It's so useless it took about 6 months to discover that mine did this at all.
Since owning the van, I've never knowingly used my fogs and only discovered my van had this feature when @Bigsidavies saw me parking up and pointed out that my "white LED headlights with yellow halogen fog lights" was not a good look... thanks Si.

I couldn’t live with myself if I’d let you carry on driving around unknowingly embarrassing yourself.

Lovely neat job @Vinyl1210 , just keep your eye on the solar cables going over the top of the window, quite abrasive on a solar cable in windywoo conditions, as I found out myself this year at a very blustery Bala meet! Cables since renewed!
Yeah. My thought exactly hence why I sleeved the solar cables from the isolator to the panel in nylon braid. Heat shrink the ends to stop it fraying. Hopefully should prevent any ā€˜chaffing’. (And who wants that !😁).

Emptied my wallet and paid a wedge of VAG Tax. Took the van in to garage for EGR diagnosis and suspenion noises. Whilst in the air on the ramps looking for coolant leaks they found 2 broken coil springs, one perished top mount and ball joints worn and split rubber boot.

Suspension jobs done. I'm now going to stand on the street corner and sell my body

I'd consider putting a Sparesaver on it if I were you šŸ‘

I keep my spare in the back on a holder attached to the off side above the wheel arch, i couldn’t get the spare out of the carrier underneath without jacking up the rear (ball ache when on the side of the road) as I’m very low on solow low coil overs I managed to squeeze-135mm out of them

Got my Roof Tent fitted from the fantastic ā€˜Tent and Trail’. Re-mounted my solar panel on-top of the R/T (but will seek out different brackets in due course with a bigger offset so I can flip the bracket over and drop the panel a bit lower, to improve aesthetics). Anyhow, well chuffed with tent. Rear awning works fantastic with the tail gate too. Very low profile, solid engineering and great price (imho). šŸ‘

Fitted Gladen Appearance 8ā€ and Tweeter kit to my T6. Apologies if you’re easily offended but OMFG!!!

Thanks to everyone for suggesting these. I still don’t think the stock speakers are terrible…but it is night and day comparing to the Gladen’s I must admit!

That’s with the stock Discover unit too.

I fitted these. No problem with door. I trimmed the edge slightly to give more clearance and can’t really see where mud can gather??
It was behind the plastic arch liner if I mind right.
Search for ā€œshorty mudflapsā€ thread
It was on that
