What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

Dropped almost everything from the underside of the van and undersealed. There was a missing protection shield not put back on in the ast and there was some slight surface rust. I could not live with myself knowing it was there so now I will never have worries.
All shields put on.
Also fitted the Ebers.

Yes it was a 8am till 6pm straight run. Tired was an understatement. Just fitted a PPT twin exit exhaust today.

Lucky for me I had plenty of practice with my T5. Apart from some weird tank which I soon realised was adblu it's pretty much the same.

Crap day outside so got to work fitting and wiring the leds in the new black door cards to gently light the door handles, top pocket and bottom one. Pic doesn't really do it justice. Maybe if it stops raining for next weekend I will get them fitted. Also cut the holes for the VW logo puddle lights.

Would like to do the door cards also, how easy was it kiter ?
Dead easy, hardest part was trying to decide where to mount the led to light the door handle, didn't want to be able to see it whilst driving. Think it's ok but will let you know once they are fitted. The bits and pieces to put 5 leds in each door was about 12 quid. Will take some pics before I fit the door cards.

Looks great! That's exactly what I want to do, have you done it yourself? What sort of film have you used?

yep did it myself im not honestly sure what film it is its just some I've had kicking about for years, its matt black. the chrome parts come off easy enough with plastic trim tools

I was going to say you have had it raised but I will go with lower profile tyres:whistle:

Whilst off to start my night shift I hit a puddle a tad hard the same time as a car coming the other way did. A daylight investigation shows all underbody protection panels have been ripped clean off and the cable for the passenger side side bar light was pulled from the plug under seat and pulled out from under the van.

must of been a hell of a puddle!!

Drilled and threaded cables through engine compartment into cabin for hookup and DC-DC charging.

Joy of joys - trying to replace the battery bracket clamp and fingers and thumbs drop it down the front of the engine bay - never to be seen again. Great. Now waiting for a replacement to come from eBay.

Did a couple of little jobs that both make a reasonable difference:

1. THQ sounds like a golf door seals.

2. H7 Philips Ultinon LED bulbs in my THQ V2 headlights.

Happy with both, although the LED bulbs, whilst much better than the halogen H7’s are not as good as the factory xenon lights in my previous vehicle.
