What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

Fitted "Sounds Like a Golf" door seals - bought before I even took delivery of the van.
Easiest 10 minute mod to do and works very well.
Drivers door is a little proud, but I think this will settle down after a few days, once the rubber is squished.
Both doors certainly shut with more of a "thud" - well pleased & I can highly recommend this cheap mod

Also, washed and waxed ready for Camper Jam
1/2 day holiday booked for tomorrow, travel home then pick up the young 'un from school and away we go.
Weather looks good... should be a fun weekend
My rubbers are arriving tomorrow, cant wait to NOT hear the doors slamming.

Yes this is a must have mod, after driving a transit and getting into a T6 it sounded like a tin can! First thing I ordered.

Today.... we finally read through our whole user manual (my day off). We had figured out most of it by playing around with the van and reading up on it online but still good to see if we had missed anything.
:)

Complete newbie to this malarky but we have also finally (been searching for a while) found out our paint code LH7W which is natural grey. This is very exciting as once our converter gets back to us with a formal quote, we can tell him what colour we want our pop top to be.
:mexican wave:

Other than that, we are just enjoying taking him out for wee trips. It is so exciting but at the same time petrifying. There is just too much stuff that we want. Who knew that a veedub could be such a money pit... I had no inkling at all, even after spending months on this forum. Honest. (well, at least that's what I tell my husband anyways).

Purchased some midge netting from Midge netting for windows, tent flaps and other openings. Keep out the midge, mosquito, fly, and other annoying biting insects. good quality stuff, would recommend if your after some. Then in true Heath Robinson style butchered a piece of ply to fit the side opening window. The hardest part was supergluing the netting to the board! I now have no fingerprints

Looks good! I need to make something similar as I can’t stand creepy crawlies getting in!

Nice little afternoon cleaning after the weekend in the lakes. First time since I fitted the new wheel and so happy I can clean them inside and out without having to remove like the old wheels :D

sad but literally couldn’t rest if I didn’t do them inside as there used to be so much rusty water from the brakes. Another pet hate I might have to address with new discs/pads.

Fitted sliding door lower bracket plastic cover, bought from the Forum shop.
It used to look like this:

But now looks like this:

100% better, but the wife doesn’t seem to understand that these little improvements are absolutely necessary!!

Finally got round to sorting a few bits
1. Van-x glovebox
2. Extra doors seals
3. Couple of storage nets either side of the bed
4. Top mod - Stuck forum sticker on!
