Mudflaps all on and sorted, can you believe i had one on for a month before i re-faffed and got them all on.
Now im a bit ocd.. well a lot
You’ll spot heli-tape behind area where they will scratch with vibration.
also the fronts arent The best fit...
extra screw beneath and ensure it sits clear of the door, plus they dont sit parallel so on one picture hopefully you can spot the black plastic spacer i put behind the inner most fixing... helps tremendously.
Look quite good now and semi happy with.. just need a clean up as been sat in garage too long

Got the geo sorted at long last.
Im very fortunate to have my own gauges that i calibrated to hell about six months back.
Man cave wall trophy more than anything but all sorted, took all of 30 mimutes but we always manage to put these jobs off!

clear see thru protection film.. thick ass sellotape lol
Similar to what guys put on their mountain bikes to protect from cable rub etc
Used in motorsport a lot also.

Think its proper name and use is helicopters... helicopter tape.. think they use it on joints, same in motorsport..

hiya im interested to see how you got on with these...
they are local to me and i was going full vanshades etc... then i read the reviews...watched the videos and wasnt really impressed.
im too fussy for bad gear... winds me up.
apologies if people have had great stuff...id be interested to hear...it was just the bad vibes id seen lots of and it put me off.

If you are local and really want them then you can get them to fit, I think they do it for free.

I presume they also have vans there you can have a good look at.

discrepancy between yesterday and today (fitting time maybe)? If P= VxI, I=P/V does that mean you've put 50 odd Ah into your battery or is it more complex than

Finally got round to fitting one of the dynamic mirror indicators. Hopefully I’ll have some time later today to do the other one or I’ll be driving round in an oddly unbalanced van for a while.

The panel is a 250W semi flexible Photonics Universe, it’s been on 2yrs now and I’ve been very happy with its performance. It runs through a Victron 100/20 solar charger and my rationale for making my own monitor is here What Have You Done To Your Van Today?.
The big discrepancy is because I’d been driving up all the previous day and didn’t arrive on site til after 5pm in the pouring rain so it’s a wonder it had time to harvest anything.
I get that yield to be about 50Ah too, though happy to be corrected if anyone knows better.
Weather here is savage and at 8am it’s currently producing 1 solitary Watt
