T6.1 Sportline Black Edition

byThe black edition stripes are bugging me, one sides not quite level and I just think they look cheap compared to some of the other limited edition transporters. Do you think it would be detrimental to the value in the future if I removed them?
If one side is lob sided then that would drive me crazy and would have it done immediately.

I do think it would be detrimental to the value, i would be questioning if it has been repaired etc etc event though it is only a sticker!...something that makes your van unique and special visually with it one. But it is your van at the end of the day also :cool:

It’s only a couple of mm higher at one end but now I’ve measured I see it all the time. That’s why I’ve held off removing them so far

@harveyj09
You run a vinyl business so just copy the decals. Print some out and either replace them or just take them off and replace when/if you sell.

Just window tint mate, but thought about getting some made up to replace if I sell it. I know there’s some already available somewhere as I’ve had a van in with them on.

They wouldn't be too difficult to copy, they are just clear film printed with text and a fade

Wheels are on, would like it lower but that’s fully down on the factory coil overs

Don’t you find the factory coil overs to hash and harder once you lowered it all the way down ?.
Ran mine fully down for a few months on the original 18s, and hated it , too harsh and feel every bump.

…however just change it today with a kit from CRS..wow, how it should have been from factory.

I find the standard coilovers very good, had bilstein on other vans in the past and find these eibachs equally as good or better. Used to driving sportier cars though with very low profile tyres and firm suspension so maybe that has clouded my judgement, but I’m happy

I found the eibachs a good set up .
I was running them with a top mount mod & adjuster delete ,I only found a need to change them purely for the lows ...

You got a pic of the van with adjusters removed, what’s the top mount mod? I would like mine lower but will wait till it’s out of warranty, if I can

I had bilstien b14 and solows the rights both pretty good. Mine is a sportline tho and standard springs pretty good. Now on airride is great but compare that to a escort cosworth with coilovers anything’s amazing.

Air ride might happen, but would defo wait till out of warranty, do the driveshaft splines still wear when lowered more than normal or has this part been modified & fixed now, or was it just on certain engine/box types. Had it happen on a 140 t5.1 a few years ago.

I don’t ride too low and don’t airrout to much so play it pretty carful.. the only thing I broke on my t6 was the top mounts. If your ever down this way happy for you to have a drive in it tho see what you think.
