Prior to lowering. The camper conversion gave it a saggy arse..

No problem these are my winter wheels 18 inch Springfields.
I do have 20s for summer as well.

Hi All; new here and first (& probably too long) post. I finally ordered a T6.1 Kombi (LWB 150 4motion T32) and hoping it’ll arrive early next year, but already thinking of suspension, wheel & tyre changes. I’ll keep the Devonports for winter tyres but am looking at some 18’s for summer. I’ll be lowering a bit; 30 or 40mm, possibly on air, but def not slamming it down; more looking for a limo look & ride, so want to keep a decent height of side wall. I’d also like to fill the arches a bit more, maybe take 10mm out of the gap. Currently looking at...
Wolfrace Vermont 8.5 x 18 in 5x120 which have offset options of ET 35, 40, 45 & 50. (These are apparently rated at 1250kg!)
For tyres I’m thinking Bridgestone T005 255/50 R18 106Y.
These are 3.1% bigger in circumference and +11mm on radius. I’m guessing that’ll about cancel out the usual speedo over estimation.
It looks like ET40 places the wheel inside edge in same place as the std wheel and adds 35mm poke on the outside, so finally to my questions...

Will that fit inside the arch with say 80mm drop on a fully dropped air suspension?

Could I add more poke?

What impact will moving the tyre footprint outward have on steering
geometry and feel?

Thanks in advance for any comments, advice and alternative suggestions.
Ian
