A highly reasonable £1300. 5 seats full Leather inc the heating elements.

I had a a couple of cheeky GTI check cushion covers made as well.

Then had to go for the GTI look for my office chair :)

Finally I bought an old Audi central / mushroom headrest of eBay for a fiver, got that trimmed the same - its perfect in the centre for a full rear view.

"Then had to go for the GTI look for my office chair :)" very nice, so a std OMP Chair and you had recovered?

after a long time talking about it I finally got round to fitting some leather seats, priced up to have mine recovered but went for Audi full electric seats. S4 B9. had a lot of help for MickHar who has already fitted the RS version of these and it was his thread that pushed me on as well as visiting him to see his installation. his van is fantastic all round. I made a frame work, fully welded, and painted. Fitting was tricky to get the drivers central, but really pleased with the outcome. followed Micks wiring and he came round to help and send me in the right direction. first proper drive out tomorrow so will double check everything works, not sure about the bolster pumping up but thats not a major issue. Just waiting for my custom steering wheel from SS customs now, also have fitted stainless side bars as my black ones were rusting, these were purchased from Mick but were long wheelbase so a friend shortened them for me.

You just have to keep an eye on the selling sites. I had 2 captains but wanted the Tiguan so we can fold the passengers seat and use as a step up to the roof bed. Probably the most versatile seats you can find and just need the easily available adapter plates to fit them. The wiring was a bit of a challenge but well worth it for the heating.
I've put the same in mine, although the passenger seat doesnt go flat and have the tray, nice seats though. Did you get a loom made? Thats what I need next, along with the panel and control box to get it all working

These look awesome. I really like the R Line seats. How difficult were they to mount to the base, were they heated?
Very easy to mount using the seat adaptor kit supplied by TransporterModsUK on Facebook. Probably took me 40 mins to swap both seats out.

The ones I installed are not heated but you can get heated R Line seats, you just need to make sure they are actually heated as many are sold as heated but aren't. A few of us on here have fallen foul of this. If you do buy heated seats, Rob at TransporterModsUK will help with the wiring, assuming you buy his adaptor plates.

Do the Tiguan seats fit without too much hassle ?

Yes, not much trouble at all with the adapter plates from THQ, fitted Rusty Lee swivel to passenger one which then needed the rear of the runners cut down to allow it to swivel without fouling the door pillar, but generally straight forward. Still need to sort some wiring though, unfortunately no help on that front

Been playing about with some ABS plastic to see if i can make something to cover the inner rails. Early stages but on the right track.
