I met Jason at Absolut audio yesterday, and I must say what a pleasure it was. He took time out of his day to spend at least an hour to explain and show me what sound proofing/ carpet lining entails for my T6.
On the strength of that meeting I have booked m y van in for Aug.
If the standard of work matches the customer service then its a win win.

I have now had my T6 Sound proofed, Insulated and Carpet lined. Also had the audio system upgraded.
I dropped my van off at Absolut Audio last Saturday and left it with them for the week to carry out the improvements.
I collected my van today and the standard of work was immaculate. It was exactly as I had hoped and more. The workmanship and finish of the carpet lining is brilliant.
The audio upgrade is superb and the additional usb points and led lights makes it feel like a new van all over again.
If anyone is looking to have these improvements made to their van then I would highly recommend ABSOLUT AUDIO.

Everyone has heard of @Absolut5 and @VWVC formerly Colin at Oxford t5, the forums are full of outstanding reviews and a quick search will show you examples of their work. They are both small family orientated business and everyone is friendly and professional.
Given the popularity of the work they do I booked my van in to get some work done, this was with a pregnant wife. As time came around and work commenced some unforeseen circumstances with the pregnancy arose and time scales and planning went in the bin. I can only shower praise on both companies for their ability to help me work around due dates, resolve the complications in collecting and delivering my van both companies displayed an attitude that is a credit to small businesses and vw enthusiasts.
@Absolut5 work is outstanding, when I went to see him my van had been abused and several previous scars from bad conversion attempts were present. The windows leaked and were badly cut out (by a Vehicle glass specialist twice) and to be honest id fallen out of love with my van. Jason took all this on-board, striped and rectified all the issues and put in his own work.
The signature install makes me want to spend all day in my van listening to the music, the lining and extra thick panels do a superb job of keeping living area noise down and soft touch brings the element of comfort. I will not go on about the other minor breakdown of parts as if you’re looking for any work from this company you already have an idea of what you can expect.
Jason big thanks to you from my me my two girls and wife you have transformed our van and made us love it again. Throughout the price was well explained and communication throughout was outstanding. Big thumbs up from me.
@VWVC Colin at oxford t5 I never got the pleasure of meeting as my brother had to drop the van off with him and collect (wife was in labour at this time). The amount of work you both squeezed in to such a short period of time is amazing.
@VWVC Colin fitted my Cali seats and rail system in a morning. After several different layouts tried, kombi seats, u shaped interior, r and roll bed, etc. I think this might be best for me and my expanding family. Parts were pre-delivered to him for storage in his unit by prior agreement several weeks before to be fitted however some items were missing and must have been overlooked from delivery (suppliers fault). Colin professionally rectified and replaced missing parts from his stock and Vw direct to ensure that if he started a job he finished a job completely.
Colins work is tidy and the service he offers is unbelievably well priced, he is a hard man to get a hold of but that’s because this really is a small two-man workshop that is in high demand, the amount of work they must get through must be staggering and they must always be on the tools.
Getting my Cali rails and bench fitted Is perfect for us as a family. It might not suit everyone and several years back wouldn’t have suited me as a single man with bikes.
It’s not finished yet as I still need to put my floor in but pictures speak for themselves.
