Power Latching Retrofit Kits

It’s quite good, the function of my mates t6.1 is much better though, I’m not sure if that’s just the way I set it up or if it’s just better/different on the newer van
It’s a completely different system on the 6.1
Annoyingly it’s better, cheaper and easier to fit !!

Depends what model it is, Highlines have factory alarm and door signal comes from the lock but other models that don’t have alarm use a traditional door pin on the rear of the door
IIRC one is negative applied and the other negative removed hence the need to reverse operation

Yes I can, haven’t checked prices for a few months so there may be a slight increase on parts cost but should only be minor, send me a pm if you would like to progress

Hi @Pauly
Is there any adjustment possible to make it a little more sensitive? Maybe adjusting the b pillar contacts in some way? I can easily latch the door without engaging the motor at the moment

Not that I’m aware of, it’s all internal to the latch and don’t think it’s designed to be adjusted

Challenge for you @Pauly.

How about power latching for a Crafter / TGE at a sensible price? The big heavy doors cry out for a quiet way of closing especially when on a camp site. I have seen such a thing from Europe but the price was prohibitive!
