Looks great!

Maybe there are finally decent plastic paints that will hold up to some use/abuse. Keen to hear how these look in a few months.
There are a few others that applied Buzzweld years ago, need more feedback on the durability and best method.

I've been thinking of upol raptor as can be mixed up to any colour and with the gun can adjust the texture right down

@Martin Gibson what finish did you order on the 5333 paint from Buzzword? satin? matt? I've got caravelle door cards so looking to paint the lower b-trim of my t6.1 to make it as close as possible

many thx

I’ve just replaced most of my grey plastic with the parts I found listed on the forum but hit a couple of snags that I can’t find answers to unless i missed it. First one is a hole in the door panel, which I guess on the caravelle / Cali has switches in it? Is there a blanking clip or something I can get?
Secondly the switches seem to be different in the panel to the right of the steering wheel. Anyone have a part number for the correct ones? I dont think it’s possible to use mine unless I butcher the panel, but might be wrong?

Colour match is very good mate but it has marked quite a bit from getting in and out. I'll take a picture tomorrow for you

Yes you can use your old switches, you just get a small gap at the top of the switch but its really small you wont notice it; I did the same in mine

For the door hole, there is no blank but there is a switch holder that goes in there, then it houses a switch like the rear internal boot release. I purchased the holder to use as a blank, but on reflection the whole is the same size as a standard interior light so you could get a blank (or a light!) off amazon for it

Ah thanks.. i was being an idiot and hadn’t realized the switches pulled out of the housing!!

Re the door hole and interior light alternative, thats a good idea. Do you mean something like the footwell lights would just slot in? Like these for example? I wonder if there is a usb socket that would fit? May as well try and use the hole for something useful!

Hi, if its any use.....I once painted plastic trim with a vinyl rattle can approach. It worked a dream, turning them black.

It was one of those where I had nothing to lose as I would have taken them out and replaced with black, but this way saved a small fortune.

Worth a thought.

Did it wear well? Brand?

Thanks. Doesn't look too bad tbh after 2 years. Maybe an annual freshen/spot check.?
What do you think caused that?
When you say 2 years, for some vans that’s 4 weeks parked up at a campsite. Is that daily use?

Yeah it’s my daily so that wear and tear is just down getting in and out. I’ll try and give it a touch up I situ and let you know how it goes.

That's good to know. Ours is a daily too so I'd be happy with that after that amount of time.

Did you clear coat over the paint? Which brand?
