Here's a nice van we have finished recently. Our customer trusted us to deliver the goods on his brand new pure grey T30 T6.1, so drove it straight to the cave from the dealer. A week later he collected it and was very, very happy. What do you guys think?

Full 3 stage sound deadening and insulation.
Additional LED lighting with dimmer for the 4 x rear spots. These have 3 position switching so can be on at any time, useful for when camping.
B Pillar USBs, switched.
12V Socket in Load Area.
Black carpet lining.
Lowered on Koni Shocks and 40mm Springs.
Velare VLR07 Diamond Black Wheels and 255/40 tyres.
Full Gloss Black front end with Orange streamers.
Colour coded lower front splitter with gloss black centre.
Gloss black badges front and rear.
Orange brake calipers all round.

It's a fantastic spec highline van with LED lights front and rear, heated seats, twin electric sliders and electric tailgate. The above mods just finish it off so well.

What make of splitter have you used? I am in Australia and hard to get splitters down under.

Looking good

It’s been a while since I’ve updated this thread, but we’ve been busy; here are a few examples of work completed at the cave recently!

ST-X coil over suspension and Inovit Blitz wheels transformed the ride and look of this already lovely camper.

We added KW V1 coil over suspension to this immaculate Kombi, we’ve since also supplied some Inovit Frixion 5 wheels and await the customer photos!

Today we added a Kombi bed as the next step in the transformation of this van from Kombi to day van. We had previously seen this van to add a 240v hookup, leisure battery and associated 12v and 240 sockets.

There really is all sorts that we can do to help you create your perfect van, so why not get in touch and talk to us about your requirements.

Oh, we also popped a set of Frixion 5 on our own van recently…..

That’s 20x8.5” ET35 on the front, 10” ET40 on the rear. Tyres are 235/35 front and 265/30 rear.

If you’re after some Frixion 5 in silver there’s good stock of the 8.5”, but no 10” at the moment. You can run the 8.5” on the rear with a spacer for a similar result.

You may have seen my recent issue with a misaligned seam on the mesh window. Not had any issues like it have you?
Hopefully it was a one-off.....

I did see that post yes, but I haven’t seen the same issue. We’ve only done two so far, so only a very small sample set.

I’m very thorough in checking everything after installation so I would expect to notice it anyway, but I’ve made a note to keep an eye out for this.

I can vouch for Chris @The Van Cave. Guided me with my wheels in the past couple of weeks with help on tyres, wheels sizes and the correct locking wheel nuts.

Even sorted an issue in had with a couple of the wheels really quick. You cannot go wrong using the @The Van Cave.

Highly recommended :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Another long overdue update from the Cave. We've been busy the last few months and here's a selection of what we've been up to:

Let's start with a couple of pretty big projects:

We built this lovely Pop Top Day Van complete with the following:
Skyline Aurora Roof With Scenic Canvas
240v Hook up and Various Sockets
12v Power Supply. No Leisure Battery, but the Victron unit supplies 12v power to USB sockets when on hook up. There's a 12v fuse box in there so that additional circuits and/or a leisure battery can be added at a later date.
3 Stage Sound Deadening and Insulation
Synthetic Suede Lining of Full Interior, bed and sliding cover panel. This was a challenge, but the end results speak for themselves.

The customer already had the Ovano bed, so we can't take credit for that!

We also built this Awesome Swamper Camper with a huge list of mods inside and out, click the link to an existing thread for full details:

Update Part Two:

Another example of our 3 stage sound deadening and insulation package. This van also had carpet lining, a leisure battery, Victron DC-DC charger, USBs, LED lights with dimmer etc.

The brief on the next van was to improve the looks, improve the handling and improve the ride quality.

We fitted 20" Inovit Frixion 5, the incredible ST-X coil over suspension, trapezoid sidebars and a subtle OEM finish front splitter.

Update Part Three:

Another van fitted with ST-X coil over suspension. This genuine Sportline also got a set of Inovit Rotor in the stunning Satin Black/Dark Tint Machined Face finish. We also added the lower gloss black front splitter for additional depth.

More interior work to show you here.

A two tone, two texture finish on this one. Anthracite carpet to the van frame, light grey synthetic suede to the panels. Hidden clips as always. We love the contrast in this van and if you check us out on instagram @thevancaveuk you can also see what the customer @somerset_t6 had to say. They've done a lot of work themselves on this van, but trusted us to do the lining for the best possible finish.
