H&R Anti Roll Bars
THQ V3 LED Headlights
Satin Black Trapezoid Sidebars

This was the first van to which we fitted the new T32 ST-X coilovers and they are just as impressive as expected. Exceptional value for money.

This stunning PV needed dropping to make the most of the new wheels, but it needed to stay comfortable too. We chose our H&R coilover offering with the rebound damping adjustment and it was the perfect choice! The wheels are Navis 19" Holey Steel, custom finished in reflex silver with chrome outer rim by Duchy Banded Wheels. I probably shouldn't say it, but this is one of my personal favourites.

One last van for now, reflex silver tin top camper:
Koni sport shocks and 40mm lowering springs
18” SuperMetal Rocket with Michelin Cross Climate 2 tyres

That's it for now, I'll try not to leave it too long before the next update!

Cheers all.

Great work as always @The Van Cave.

Am I correct in saying Lowest --> Highest is:

H&R (80mm) -> ST-X (65mm)-> KW V1 (60mm)

But, in your opinion, what is the order in comfort?

Thanks

Thank Jon.

The KW and ST-X both go to 65mm, the only real difference between them is the stainless steel front strut bodies on the KW.

H&R will do 80 on the front, sometimes a little less on the rear in an empty PV, but usually 80.

In heavier vans it’s possible that they (all 3 kits) go lower than the figures above, but to maintain the TUV approval the figures quoted above are the maximum drops.

As for comfort, it’s so close between them that you would struggle to tell the difference, even if you back to back tested them on the same van.

Due to the comfort levels all being so good, class leading in all cases, for me it’s as follows when discussing coilovers:

ST-X: Anyone wanting moderate drops up to 65mm and keeping the budget sensible.

KW V1: As above, but with a little added bling from the stainless front strut bodies at a couple hundred or so quid more.

H&R: Anyone wanting drops between 65-80mm. Alternatively, anyone wanting drops from 50-80mm who might like a play with the rebound damping on the front.

Cheers.

I think it also depends on the weight of the van etc as well.
I had the kwv1 on my empty T32 Shuttle and now have the H&R damping adjustable coilovers above... which are noticeable more comfy.

But the KW performed well, when I have a full van... which is very rare.

It’s often said that Solow suspension, 20s and load rated tyres can’t be done, but it can, even on a T32.

Here are two vans doing exactly that. First is a T30, second is a T32 that’s 100mm down. A few minor arch liner tickles and it’s perfect.

T32 and a heavy camper at that.

How much are st-x fitted, how do they compare to b14’s and can they get a 60-80mm drop?
Hi, ST-X are £1150 including VAT and fitting at the cave. They are a better quality kit than the original B14 and a much better ride quality. They are a better quality kit than the B14 komfort too and the ride quality is at least as good. You can definitely get 65mm, it can be possible to get more, but I have other great options for that too, although they are more expensive. PM me for more details if you would like to know more.

Cheers, Chris.
