GREAT news for all of us that you are keeping The Van Cave going Chris.
Although I am relatively new to the Transporter scene, I’ve already witnessed your exceptional eye to detail on my Air Suspension install.
There are loads and loads of EXCELLENT endorsements for your work on here, not to mention that you yourself are a Top Geezer!
So I for one will DEFINITELY be back to support your Business, and I hope that getting back in the groove with work will prove to be the best thing for you.

Some of you will have seen a post on here from a couple of months ago stating that I was permanently closing the cave. I've decided not to do that, so the cave will be re-opening.
Without going into any real detail, I'll try and explain a bit. 3 months ago there was a change in my life that caused me to question everything I cared about. At the time it felt like I just couldn't carry on at the cave and closing felt like the only option. In the few months that have passed I've changed my mind on some of these things, with the cave being one of them, so I'll be carrying on after all. I've put too much into it over the past 5 years to walk away and where else are any of you going to go and receive the same level of knowledge, care, attention to detail and quality that you get from me?
So I will continue to offer the following services, with some bookings already confirmed, but with plenty of workshop time available (almost immediately), should you wish to do something soon.
Suspension, including air suspension.
This has always been my number 1 specialist subject, especially air. If you want the best, unbiased and honest advice about air suspension, then I am the only person to come to. I have access to many different options and I am uniquely placed to make sure you get the right kit. You can also trust my advice on static suspension, whether that be coil overs, shock upgrades, lowering or lifting.
Wheels and tyres.
Loads of options for wheels and tyres are available from me, such as Rotiform, Navis, Vossen, Velare, SuperMetal etc. There are loads more, but I haven't got space to list them all!
Brake Upgrades.
@Nutexa Frictions are the chosen brand for brake upgrades at the cave, with options from pad and disc upgrades in standard sizes, to 6 and 8 pot calipers in various sizes, two piece discs etc. There is something here for everyone, at the highest quality and from lovely people. If you want more stopping power and seriously good looks, talk to me about Nutexa brake upgrades.
Styling.
From simple upgrades like gloss black grilles, side bars etc, to full body kits from Leighton Vans, I've got you covered. All exterior styling options are covered at the cave, whatever your tastes.
Audio.
Simple speaker upgrades, head unit upgrades and full system builds and installs are all possible, so whatever you want from your audio, I can help.
Interiors.
All the usual Van Cave offerings are available. Carpet lining, insulation, sound deadening, leisure electrics etc. All done to the very high standards that customers have come to expect from me.
Headlights.
Various upgrades are available here, including full LED aftermarket headlights. So you're covered for everything from simple bulb upgrades, to the full LED, game changing options.
Hopefully a few of you will want to get in touch and look to get some work scheduled in, I'm looking forward to getting back at it properly. I've got a couple of air installs and some audio lined up already, but there are some very big gaps in the diary, so I may be able to get you booked in sooner than I would normally be able to.

Being a 1 man band, I know Chris can be super busy in the workshop, and might sometimes take a few days to Reply. However my advice is just give him a gentle nudge once ir twice and give him the benefit if the doubt.
I can absolutely vouch for Chris 100%, he is almost certainly one of the most trustworthy and thorough people in the VW scene, and it is WELL WORTH the wait.
Hi, yeah I used him several times early last year and he is certainly the man.
The Van Cave is now permanently closed. It will not re open again.
