Front Shocks

Been to the VW garage in Peterborough again yesterday, long story short had a to have new near side one fitted under warranty in July now the drivers side is leaking so is going to be replaced when they have ordered one. The van has only done 15000 miles and wont be 2 years old till November has any one else had this issue or am I just unlucky not over impressed last van was a Vivaro 150,000 miles and still on original shocks, hope the replacement one last longer than the original one.

Don't think this is a common problem that I have heard of so think you might be unlucky.

I'm sure if vivaros had a forum there would be reports of front shocks going at 15000.
I think your just unlucky bud.

The dealer replaces shock absorbers individually under warranty. Yet if you are paying, they insist on replacing in pairs.
