EPB Retrofit ... the way to Stop & Go

Here is a list of possible calipers, not validated, probably best added in my first Post.

From Audi A4 (8W2, B9)

Are we close to having a costed up solution offered for non-DIYers? It would be ace to lose the manual handbrake and chuck a fridge in there instead!
 
Another amazing functionality of EPB - conditional Auto Release.
This feature is fully configurable and
I have chosen to auto release only if driver's seat belt is fastened and door is closed.
Also video demonstrates my "temporary" location of my EPB switch unit.
I have gained on clearance space between front seats
after removing mechanical PB and associated trims so I am happy as it is for now.
But some day when I discover ideal location in the central console/dash I will move it there.

PQ35 gets AUTOHOLD by default after connecting 56D EPB(subject to ABS type). PQ25 is not that simple but achievable :thumbsup:.

I now have
4G0 615 403 A and 4G0 615 404 A
from AUDI A6 (4G2, 4GC, C7) for 330x22 Disks.

I finally found time to install the Calipers Last week.
It is Really Plug and Play.
Everything fits perfekt, only one little adaptation is to be made: The Holder for the brake lining wear indicator Connector needs a new position.

First Function Test passed and First drive Test passed, too.

Still no Stop&Go functionality
But Auto-Disengage is a very cool Feature.

Todo:
- Get Auto-Close implemented
- Get Stop&Go implemented

 
Just to weaken your expectations.

I have a T5.2 (2013) which eletronically got upgraded to a T6. But i still have the EU5 CFCA Diesel Engine, with retrofitted ACC support and DSG.
Following is working.
- EPB Manual Close/Open with Switch
- With closed EPB car is not moving with DSG in D/S or R <== change to before
- With closed EPB car is not moving with DSG in D/S or R when pressing Accelerator pedal EPB auto opens and Car moves <== cool feature
- Doing FTS with ACC the car is approx 1 Second longer hydraulic Breaked than without EPB (exactly like in my first Post)

Following is not working.
- AutoClose of EPB
- ACC Stop&Go like in Sharan

No Errors and all Features work like Expected.

BUT @Robert now must Post the Problems in his T6 with EU6 Engine.
We are right now not shure why it is behaving differently ....
Still comparing differences ... Hopefully it is not an issue of ECU ...
