So to make the black MK7 Golf Buttons fit this is what I did...


Cut the bottoms of the Golf Buttons and the tops off the Transporter Buttons.

So now we have Black Buttons on the original switches


But the new buttons won't fit the recess in the body of the light unit. So file 1.5mm from each side of all the recesses and then from the facia surround




and we end up with this

Picked up some pre loved Info / SOS and Passenger Airbag modules in black and gave the ceiling console surround some UPOL Satin Black Paint

Next little mod is to see if I can illuminate the light buttons??

Next up...... Covering the headlining

and should have done this first! Cut the holes for the Sun Visor Vanity Lights

and the finished Headliner in Audi Headlining Material



Gave it a quick clean up, trimmed a couple of edges, and now ready to fit

Fitting the finished Headliner


Fitted the Sun Visor Clips first


Then the Grab Handle and Vanity Light


and finally the Black A Pillar Handles


Very happy with the look, it's transformed the Cab

Fitted the Overhead console






Very very happy with how it's looking

Tomorrow it's refitting recovered B Posts, black seat belt caps and finding some screws for the Drivers Side Sunglasses Holder

I've used 3 metres so far, as I did the A and B Posts before the headliner I've used more than I needed to.

Hi, looking great, I did mine last week too, and it's all refitted albeit with the light grey bits!

Don't suppose you have part numbers for the black equivalents!?

The airbag indicator button thingy is 5C5919234 and there’s one >> Here <<

The Info / SOS thingy buttons is 5GM035624

The Sunvisor Clips are >> Here <<

The ceiling grab handle is 6N0857607T as there’s one >> Here <<

The A Pillar Grab Handles are 7H08586379B9 and 7H08586389B9 and are >> Here <<

and the black handle caps are 7H08576279B9 and are >> Here <<

Note, the N/S A Pillar Grab handle has a slightly different profile and will require slight modification.

Slowly slowly, but more progress.

B Posts and black seat belt covers fitted




Forgot to fit some sound deadening and insulation behind the upper B Posts but that’ll have to wait now until I decide what to do with the lower B Posts

Part numbers for the black Seat Belt Cap / Covers are 1J0858189 C B41 if you need them
