The clip now just clips over the trim (it is a fairly stiff interference fit) and the rubber piece wraps over the front end of the deflector snd seats down in the clip (with a little bit of help from silicone spray).Have they changed to some form of adhesive to keep the bottom of the deflector in tension? Or does it now clip over the trim?
That first picture is it part of the deflector ? or does it need sticking on ? taPicked up my Climair smoked wind deflectors today from Eurocarparts. Pondered the useless fitting instructions for a while and eventually worked out what I was supposed to do. They then only took seconds to fit without any drilling or miniature screws to lose.

Thanks seems to be better job had heko and the second one just flew away from passenger side so willing to try climairsThe Climair deflector fits in the window channel but needs a small "foot" to hold the bottom of the deflector, it puts a bit of a twist on it that holds the whole thing tight without needing clips in the channel.
The older design used a small self tapping screws into the trim, the newer version appears to just clip over the edge of the trim.
Thank you. Found the code on the previous page.I used this part number. 953660881
Hi woziejo81. The first picture shows a small plastic moulded part that is supplied with the wind deflectors. It simply places in the window slot and presses onto the outside of the frame - it is designed to be a stiff interference fit so it is removable (in theory) Then the wind deflector sits it in with a rubber 'sleeve' that needs a little lube on to help it seat in the clip and hold the wind deflector in place and not flick out. I hope that description is of some help to you. If you can zoom in on the photo you should be able to make out how the clip has fitted in place and where the rubber sleeve is seated inside the clip. That first picture is it part of the deflector ? or does it need sticking on ? ta
They are super easy to instal and much much more resilient than HekoHi woziejo81. The first picture shows a small plastic moulded part that is supplied with the wind deflectors.
