Brake caliper painting

If you want a 100% durable finish get them zinc metal sprayed, obviously only one colour and they would need to be stripped.

Forgot to mention ,I hand painted these too. Careful bit of prep then 2 coats.

I painted ours a few months back with the E-Tech paint. I was really happy with the results. Unfortunately as you can see in one of the photos, the discs were on their last legs. My local garage changed the discs/pads but knocking the calipers back on took some paint off. I'll have to take the wheels off and touch them the best I can. I've attached a couple of photos taken before discs replacement.

Just seeing who has had experience of having their calipers painted.
Did you get them done off the van?
Did you bother with a full refurbishment or just paint?
If painted on the van is the finish ok or does it look messy/bits get missed?
How much did you pay?
Anyone from Team Indium what colour did you go for? (I’ve got black alloys and was thinking a gold/bronze/copper colour, opinions welcome)
Thanks in advance!

I brush painted mine. First one off the van-massive faff and hard to get back on without damaging the paint.
Other 3 on the van.
I used a drill attachment to get the surface pretty good.
The caliper paint is hard to brush on-runs, drags, etc.
If doing again I’d mask up and spray them.
