Following windscreen replacement, radio and windscreen heating not working

Recently had the windscreen replaced on my MY23 Highline Kombi-based camper. During replacement, the rubber wind-deflector for my Hilo Sport pop-top (which is stuck along the top edge of the windscreen) was removed, so I have refrained from using the van until I could arrange for a new one to be...

    Heated windscreen failing

Well that's just typical! The 3 year warranty on my T6.1 ran out a couple of weeks ago, I fired up my van this morning in a heavy frost to find a 1 foot section of the heated screen has failed, on top of the other 2 single wires that had failed a while back. Before I pull anything apart, or just...

[Resolved] Leak in to drivers footwell

Hi All, I have this trickle of water appear when it rains down in the drivers foot well. Any ideas where it is coming from? When I look up above the pedals I can't see anything else wet? I don't have roof rails just a West Dubs pop top. All drains seem to work under the van. Thanks, Matt

T6.1 Heated windscreen not working well

My 2020 T6.1 has a heated windscreen which doesn’t appear to work. It’s been into VW and they can’t find any obvious faults with it. The last vehicle I had with a heated windscreen would clear the screen in about 30 seconds. In the T6.1 if I turn off the blowers and turn on the heated...

    T6.1 Retrofit Heated Windscreen??

Hey all, I'm annoyed at myself that I forgot to spec the heated windscreen in my new van. The only thing is, I notice that the windscreen itself has the heating element running through it. Is it a big job for someone to fit the relay and switch on the dash? Or is there a lot more to it than...

Heated Windscreen Highline - Not Working

Hi, Never had a heated windscreen before, but pretty sure it's not designed to work like this. Can someone confirm that it shouldn't leave a strip of ice. The van is only 2 months old so should be covered by the warranty.
