I do agree with the less is more bit, but in this case I think there is room for a little bit more to tie the red in to something else. Matching collar and cuffs springs to mind.

I'm thinking the top chrome streamer just under the bonnet (which I dont have) might look good as it's very narrow compared to the 2 lower ones ?
Mocked up the red bonnet streamer with electrical tape. In 2 minds, not seen this done by anyone else so will be unique if nothing else....

Finally got round to fitting an internal release on the tailgate after buying all the bits and pieces.
Knew it all worked from testing beforehand but as this was the first real bit of electrical stuff i've done myself in the van I didn't realise how anxious I was making that first cut! haha.
Was pretty straight forward and pretty please how it turned out in the end

Could you give details of the switch you used and the wiring ? Looking at doing this shortly but I have electrical expertise. Had the van less than a week and the mods have started already.
Starting simple with a lower splitter and blue bumper trim to give the van a stronger looking chin.
Getting the urge to de-chrome the upper grill ....
