Advertising blurb states "up to 150% brighter than standard".I think the 150% refers to minimum legal requirements, so may not be 150% of the OEM.
But they can't be any worse![]()
We all know of course that "up to 150%" is somewhere between 0% and 150%.

Now trialled in the dark.
Distinctly brighter.
Bulbs give a whiter light which certainly helps.
Not convinced that there is a 150% increase in visibility.
Could still do with better visibility on dipped beam.
Main beam is great.
For a "cheap fix" it is certainly not bad, at all.
No current plans to spend the hundreds required to completely swap the light units.

....Girlfriend decided to pick a fight with a post whilst trying to reverse!!
Any thoughts on fixing this? View attachment 90085
Just the bumper luckily! Is that just the bumper or is the door damaged too
I was debating this, but was thinking long term - if taking the protector off would ruin even more paint work underneathCan you not cover it with a bumper protector the one that fits all along the back

I have seen those advertised previously but was not quite sure how effective they might be. I agree with your words about the standard shades. They are poor. This day and age they should be fitting something a lot better. How about something like an electrically operated roller blind. That are shaped to eliminate all the little gaps that normally allow the laser like sun beams early and late sun to drill into ones head. Thank you for posting the images I have a better idea what the would be like. They work well with the dark filter in the sun and the yellow filter at night ...
