What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

Also had a problem with double seat turning around so just added a smear of grease and it now swivels with ease.

Mine was scraping small shavings of the white nylon on every turn.

Modification, and with a spray of silicone dry lubricant and it flies round now!

Well the weirdest thing happened today, so I've sort of done something to mine. The dealer rang me with a deal. Basically swap my nearly year old Velle with 10k miles for an identical 19 plate with 7k miles. No money to change hands, they'll do the private plate swap etc, and here's the odd thing, £50 per month cheaper finance!!!

Mine came from VWHQ, so is the new one. They've been offered the van at a good price and VWFS have adjusted their rates. They say they win by selling another VW stock vehicle, plus signing up another finance deal. They also get my van for stock. It seem they can't get enough Velles. Why don't they just buy the new one for stock? Who knows? But I've said yes. I think I would be stupid not to, unless anyone thinks otherwise.

Tried out a couple of Auto Finesse wheel wax products on the new banded steels. Have to say the Mint Rims has ticked the boxes, and it also smells amazing! Easy to apply and buffs off leaving a nice shine. Not sure if these products are any good but I’m sure after the wheels are fitted and we have the first wash I’ll know.
